CAMDEN, Ark. — Kenneth Dale Eiland, 76, died Sept. 13, while in Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Ark. Born Aug. 10, 1935 in Gurdon, Ark., he was the son of J.D and Ruby Dale (Ball) Eiland. He attended Camden-Fairview High School. On March 23, 1958 he married Darlene Shultz in Ellinwood. She survives. He was employed in the oilfield both on land and offshore.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell of Hays and Jeff of Camden, Ark.; four daughters, Onita Jones of Longville, La., Amanda Schwab of Liberal, Teresa Bates of Dallas, Texas and Angela Webb of Lebanon, Mo.; a brother, Freddie Don Eiland of the family home; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Durwood and Rufus; and one sister, Sybil Young.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, Ark., and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, in Hutchinson. Interment will be at the Wildemead Cemetery in Nickerson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main in Hutchinson.
