Kenneth Eldon “Kenny” Wells, 86, passed away Oct. 17, 2023, at Medicalodges of Great Bend, Kan. He was born on June 21, 1937, in Great Bend, Kan., to Emery Doyle and Bertha (Staerkel) Wells. Kenny was married to Ruby Popp; they were later divorced. He was then married to Lois Bath.
A lifetime resident of Great Bend, Kenny worked as an electrician before becoming owner and operator of Wells Seamless Guttering for more than 40 years. He was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Kenny was also a member of many country bands, playing the bass. He liked fishing, bowling, and was a pet lover, especially his dogs.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra (Steve) McAnulla, Carol (Bill) Herrman, and Cheryl Davis, all of Great Bend, Kan.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Douglas Wells; his parents; two brothers, Melvin and Larry Wells; and his beloved dog, Missy.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials have been designated to the Golden Belt Humane Society or Fraternal Order of Eagles, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
