Kenneth L. Kenny Blair 1931 - 2015

Kenneth L. “Kenny” Blair, 83, passed away on Friday morning, April 24, 2015, at Almost Home Inc. in Great Bend. Born Sept. 4, 1931, in Braggs, Oklahoma, he was the son of Riley and Mary Belle (McMillan) Blair. In 1949, he came to Great Bend. On Jan. 21, 1951, he was united in marriage to Garnetta E. Queen in Great Bend. He drove a truck for Graves Truck Lines of Great Bend for over 40 years, and later worked for Bentley & Associates in Great Bend for several years, delivering parts and working in the shop. He loved hunting and fishing and taking care of his grandchildren.

Mr. Blair was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend.              
Survivors include his wife, Garnetta E. Blair of Great Bend; one daughter, Cynthia and her husband, Rusty Carson of Great Bend; four granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and two sisters, Betty Peterson and Brenda Morgan, both of Oklahoma.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kenneth Blair Jr.; one brother; and one sister.
