PRIOR LAKE, Minn. — Kimberly Jo Loring, age 51, of Prior Lake, Minn., passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, Friday, Dec. 30, 2022.
Kim was born in Great Bend, Kan. to Larry and Joan (Debes) Vink on June 1, 1971. After graduating from Seaman High School in 1989 in Topeka, Kan. she attended Washburn University. Kim worked at the Menninger Video Productions and then BNSF Railway Co. She later owned and operated the Lake Store in Prior Lake for several years before taking a sales operations role with LeGrand.
Kimberly is loved and missed by her husband, Eric of 27 years and their two sons, Zach Loring (AmandaArensdort) of Phoenix, Ariz. and Luke Loring of Prior Lake. Her sisters, Marilyn Fairchild, Topeka, Jane Rice, Hoisington, Brenda Wilson, Topeka, and sister-in-law Norma Vink, Topeka. Her in- laws, Butch and Cheryl Loring and brother-in-law Thane Loring (Emily), of Scandia; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents Larry and Joan Vink; brother, Rich Vink; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Fairchild, Greg Wilson, and George Rice.
A celebration of Kim’s life will take place on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. At Ballard Sunder Funeral and Cremation 4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN. Visitation prior from 9 to 11 a.m. Friends are also invited to join the live stream at the following link: Kim’s Celebration of Life.
