EMPORIA — Leon (Lee) Thomas Beran, 87, died on March 20, 2019, at his home surrounded by family. Lee was born June 30, 1931, in Larned, Kan., the son of Anton and Hattie (Prosser) Beran.

Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday April 5, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Emporia and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday April 6, 2019, at the church. Burial will be held at a later date at the Holy Family Cemetery, Odin, Kan.
