Panther tennis places third at Hays

HAYS — Great Bend's No. 1 singles Aiden Stacey (3-1) and No. 2 singles Jacob Parks (3-1) both placed third at Monday's Hays Tennis Invitational.

In third place matches, Stacey defeated Salina South's Kettler Fullen, 8-2; and Parks defeated Liberal's Aaron Munoz, 8-2.

The Panthers (38) finished third behind Phillipsburg (58) and WaKeeney-Trego (48).

No. 1 doubles Kai Britt/Aaron Ramirez (2-2) defeated Hays' Cyran Randle/Damian Guzman, 8-7 (7-5) for fifth place.

Hays High's No. 2 doubles Hunter Lang/Dalton Maier downed Panthers Chase Stout/Santiago Velasco, 8-3 for fifth place.
