Leonard Rex Davis 1929 - 2014

ST. JOHN — Leonard Rex Davis, 84, died Feb. 23 at Leisure Homestead, St. John. He was born Mar. 2, 1929, at Manter, the son of Earl R. and Rosa M. (Kidwell) Davis. He was a farmer/stockman and life-long resident of rural St. John.
He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had past membership in the local Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Davis is survived by nieces: Karen Newman, Delta, Colo.; Maxine Jenson, Pasco, Wa.; Carol Caudill, Tacoma, Wa.; Darla Rarden, Sayre, Okla.; two nephews: Gale Taylor, Hill City, and Thomas Arnold, Pasco, Wa. He was preceded in death by his brother Willie; sisters Ethel Taylor, Bertha Rarden and Ruby Arnold; and two nieces and two nephews.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27 at Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John. Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. on Wednesday at Minnis Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be given to Stafford Co. 4-H Council or Community Food Bank in care of the funeral home.
