Linda P. Flanery, 64, died Sept. 16, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She was born Sept. 29, 1956 In Ypsilanti, Mich. to Herman and Jean (McQuaid) Adams.

Linda graduated from Belleville High School. While in Michigan, she worked as the Meeting and Events Coordinator for Distributor Concepts Candy Company, Ann Arbor. Linda moved to Great Bend in 2000, where she worked as the secretary of First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Linda is survived by her husband, James C. Martin of the home; sister-in-law Rhonda Adams of Atlanta, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Adams.

Linda’s ashes will be interred at a later date. A Memorial Service will be held Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, with Pastor Mike Munz presiding.
