ALBERT — Louise Brack, 91, died Aug. 6, 2015, at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson. She was born June 6, 1924, at Great Bend, the daughter of William Adolph “Bill” and Mary Olive (Weiman) Budde.
Louise married Morris Elwood Brack Aug. 21, 1942, at Albert. He died May 24, 1983.
A lifetime Albert resident, Louise was a farmer, working for LaCrosse Furniture Factory for several years.
Louise was previously a 4-H community leader, involved in the Rush County Extension Office, and served on the Rush County Nursing Home Board. She enjoyed socializing with friends, playing cards, attending community events, bird watching and gardening, and spending time with family.
She was a former member of the Albert United Methodist Church and the Otis United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Alan Brack and wife Janice of Bison; one daughter, Dian Quint and husband Terry of Loveland, Colo.; five grandchildren, Jodi Romeiser and husband Duane, Scott Brack and wife Jeana, Jessica Feldhausen, Tracey Swalley, and Alicia Steiner; and eight great-grandchildren, Spencer Romeiser, Brielle Romeiser, Carley Brack, Cailyn Brack, Colton Brack, Brynna Feldhausen, Justin Swalley and Janessa Swalley. She was preceded in death by half-sister, Pauline Lebsack and her husband Milton J. Lebsack.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlyn Thielenhaus, officiant. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6- 8 p.m. Memorial donations to Albert Fire Department or Friendship Meals may be made in care of the funeral home.
