GREAT BEND — Lucas J. Campbell, 26, died June 25, 2013 at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
He was born Aug. 14, 1986 at Wichita, the son of Gerald and Leslie (Pankratz) Campbell.
He was a Planemasters Pilot and Centerline Aviation Flight instructor. He was a 2004 graduate of Burrton High School and a 2008 graduate of the Aeronautical Technology Program at Kansas State University. He loved to fly and was a gifted instructor.
Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Leslie Campbell, Burrton; a brother, Brian Campbell, Burrton; grandmothers, Faye Campbell, Burrton; and Marcella Wagerle, Wichita; girlfriend: Amanda Davis, Wichita; and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lyle Campbell and Charles Wagerle.
Friends may sign the register book from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at Burrton Christian Church with Rev. Charles Kerr officiating. Burial will follow at Burrton, Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Burrton Christian Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
