HOISINGTON — Martha Ann Redetzke, 77, died Oct. 22 at Hospice of Reno County. She was born Oct. 29, 1932, at Altadena, Calif., the daughter of Harry and Nora (Auten) Hawes. She married Clarence Redetzke on Nov. 3, 1951, at Fort Smith, Ark. She worked as an accounting clerk for Essex for 23 years. She was a Hoisington resident.

Mrs. Redetzke was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, its Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary, all of Hoisington.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence, of the home; two sons, Terence Redetzke and Gregory Redetzke, both of Hoisington; three daughters, Catherine Kruhm and Carol Redetzke, both of Littleton, Colo., and LInda Rubio of HOisington; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Rubio.

Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m . Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington, with Father Dwight Birket celebrant. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Catherine Cemeterey, Dubuque. Memorial funds for the American Diabetes Association, Golden Belt Chapter, for the Zachary C. Rubio Seminary Burse or for Parkinson’s Research may be made in care of the funeral home.
