LARNED — Mary Alice Klinge, 78, passed away Nov. 18, 2023 at Country Living of Larned Home Plus.
She was born Dec. 28, 1944 in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Martin and Elsie Podraza Klinge. A longtime area resident, she was a retired director of medical records for Central Kansas Medical Center and St. Joseph Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altar Society, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a Dominican Associate of the Dominican Sisters of Peace. Mary enjoyed cross stitching, scrapbooking, reading, traveling, shopping and going to the casino.
Survivors include brother, Richard (Maureen) Klinge, Edmond, Okla.; two nieces, Amy Klinge, Stillwater, Okla., Kristen (Austin) Case, Edmond, Okla.; and a great nephew, Griffin Case. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Elsie.
Vigil and Rosary will be at 6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 20, 2023 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Anselm Eke presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the Dominican Sisters Resurrection Cemetery, Great Bend.
