MOORE, Okla. — Mickey Goodwin, 98, born Bula Lucile Chrislip, of Moore, Okla. left this earthly domain and joined God’s Kingdom on March 9, 2017.
Mickey was born Dec. 28, 1918, the daughter of Hayward Clarence Chrislip and Lela Lucille Jackson.
Mickey was a long-time resident of Great Bend, and then Moore, Okla. Mickey loved children, animals and playing cards with her friends. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 226.
Mickey is survived by her daughter, Janet Miller and husband Warren, Liberty, Mo.; grandson, Scott Jackson and wife Lisa, Moore, Okla.; grandson, Chris Jackson and fiancé’ Ronna Finley, Oklahoma City, Okla., granddaughter, Julie Jackson, Denton, Texas, granddaughter, Angela Caruso-Yahne and wife Mandy, Kansas City, Mo.; granddaughter, Lissa Baldwin and husband Nick, Kansas City, Mo.; granddaughter, Amanda Condray and husband Joel, Wichita; grandson, Cary Goodwin, and great grandchildren, Brittany Hyde and husband Chad, Jordan, Austin, Taylor, Ryan, Andrew, Asher and Selah, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Maxine Killingsworth and Wanda Meford, Roger Goodwin, her husband of 50 years, sons, Tommy and Dick Goodwin, and daughter Sue Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 201 W. Main Street, Moore, Okla.
