ELLSWORTH — Hoisington's girls (103) won the Ellsworth Track Invitational title by one point over Ellsworth (102) when Marley Bittel won the 100 meters (12.83), 200 meters (26.84), 400 meters (1:03.84) and helped the 400-meter relay (51.55) finish first.
Runner-up Hoisington medals were won by Keslynn Adee, 400 (1:04.23) and high jump (5-0); Kinley Wilkens, triple jump (34-4); Madison Simmons, pole vault (9-0); and Addison Hanzlick, javelin (116-11).
Central Plains Oiler Karli Frost placed second in the shot put (33-51/2) and discus (105-1).
BOYS DIVISION —Hoisington's boys won the Ellsworth team title with 102 points, well ahead of Lincoln (72).
Hoisington's winners were Layton Hoffman, shot put (51-3); and discus (164-0); Brody Rossman, 3,200 (10:46.67); and Joseph Hekele, pole vault (13-0).
Runner-up medals were earned by Courtney Bryant, 100 (11.42); and long jump (20-31/2); Taylen Morales, pole vault (13-0); and the 400-meter relay (44.96).
