DEQUINCY, La. — Nina Gwyn Chandler, 64, died at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital on Oct. 11, 2011.
Survivors include her husband James Chandler; two sons, Jason Chandler and wife Shiela, DeQuincy, La. and Chris Chandler and wife Jennifer, Park City; a daughter Melissa Chandler, DeQuincy, La.; a brother Richard Gay, Shreveport, La.; a sister Barbara Richey, Coushatta, La.; and four grandchildren, Ashley Chandler, Leighana Chandler, Caden Chandler and Ian Chandler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Romie and Ideva Gay; a sister, Joyce Speights; and brothers, R.L. Gay, Harvey Gay and Wayne Gay.
Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, at Fields Pentecostal Church with Pastor Terry Lee officiating. Burial will be at Corinth Tabernacle Cemetery in Winnfield under the direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m.Thursday at the funeral home.
