Norman R. Roberson

Norman R. Roberson Sr., 88, passed away December 1, 2020 at his home in Larned.

He was born October 2, 1932 in Larned, the son of Edwin K. and Kathryn Christiansen Roberson.

A lifetime area resident, he was a Masonry Contractor.

He was of the Christian faith and belonged to the Wendy’s Coffee Group.

On October 19, 1952, he married Marie Smith in Great Bend.  She died March 10, 2016.

Survivors include: son, Rex (Sherry) Roberson, Ellinwood; three daughters, Linda (Roger) Anderson, Inman, Kathy Morgan, Larned, Mary (John) Roberson, Blythe, CA; two sisters, Lois Coleman, Yakima, WA, Connie Roberson-Gross, Garden City; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Jane Bird, Betty Sohl, Sherry Roberson, Donna Roberson; two brothers, Eldon and Robert Roberson.

Memorial graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Larned Cemetery, Larned with Roger Anderson presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
