HOUSTON, Texas — Patricia Marie Peebler passed away on Nov. 6 in grace and peace at her home in Houston, Texas. Born April 21, 1947, she was the daughter of Raphael and Helen (Staudinger) Malone in Great Bend.

Pat dedicated her life to the service of others, most recently as grants administrator for the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. Her incredible love and compassion for friends, family and colleagues enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Pat is survived by her two sons, Bryan and Melissa and Mike and Laurie; two sisters, Marcia and Loren Tedder and Betty and Kent Woolley; her brother, Kenny and Judy Malone; grandson, Max and another grandchild to be named later.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Community, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, in Spring, Texas. A reception celebrating her life will immediately follow.
