TOPEKA —Robert Edward Lee, 66, Topeka, died Nov. 30. Bob was born June 10, 1944, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Schubert and Loreen Martin Lee. He graduated from Hayden High School in 1962. He was employed by Kansas Gas Service Co., was a car salesman, an auctioneer, worked for Famous Brands and was an Auburn-Washburn school bus driver. Bob was an avid athlete. He played softball for many years and loved to play golf. He had a special place in his heart for his animals.

Survivors include his spouse, Julie Jones; daughter, Kristine Wanamaker (Bruce); son, Scott Lee (Brandi); granddaughter, Taylor Morgan Lee; brothers, Greg Lee (Vickie) and Jim Lee (Sheri); sister, Maggie Lee Reinhardt (Gregg); nieces and nephews and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Karl Lee.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, Topeka. Family will greet friends one-half hour prior to service. Inurnment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Helping Hands Humane Society, Combat Air Museum and Auburn-Washburn Public School Foundation.
