Roger Kenneth Warner, 89, passed away July 8, 2022, at Diversicare of Larned. He was born on Dec. 29, 1932, at Jamestown, New York to Kenneth and Ethel (Rowland) Warner-Peters. He married Gloria Berger on Nov. 24, 1971 in Poland, New York.
A current Great Bend resident, Roger was a farmer. He loved the country life and its serene nature. Roger loved animals and fishing. He was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church. Roger served in the United States Army while being stationed in Nuremberg, Germany from 1952-1955.
Survivors include, his wife, Gloria Warner of the home; four sons, Roger K. Warner, Jr. of Waddell, Ariz., Kirby Warner of Goodyear, Ariz., William Warner of Lakewood, New York and Danny Warner or Jamestown, New York; two stepsons, Chuck Warner and Kim Michael, both of Jamestown, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Donald Warner; and three sisters, Barbara Warner Traver Smith, Janet Traver and Dorothy Lundmark.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place and services are pending. Memorials have been designated to Veterans Memorial Park fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
