PITTSBURG — Rudolph “Rudy” Joseph VonFeldt, 84, passed away Aug. 8, 2015, at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
Born Dec. 10, 1930, he was the son of Joseph and Lena Bittle VonFeldt. On Jan. 4, 1969, he married Tonya Shull. She preceded him in death.  
Survivors include five children, Jon VonFeldt and his wife Kathleen, Anissa VonFeldt, Angela VonFeldt, and Phillip VonFeldt, all of Pittsburg; and Tina Fredrick and her husband, Derek, Derby; two brothers, Richard VonFeldt, Council Grove; and Roy VonFeldt, Great Bend; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild with one more on the way; as well as many nieces and nephews that he was very fond of. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, Ralph VonFeldt, Robert VonFeldt, Raymond VonFeldt and two infant brothers; and five sisters, Albertine Denning, Fabiola (Faye) VonFeldt, Pauline VonFeldt and two infant sisters.  
Rudy has been cremated and Catholic mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend. There will be a rosary just before the mass. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery immediately after the service. Memorials may be sent to Class LTD (Phillip’s school) in care of the mortuary.
