LAUGHLIN, Nev. — Ruth A. Ogden, age 84, passed away on July 4th, 2019, peacefully at her home in Laughlin, Nev. She was born July 11, 1934, in Indiana to Dessie and Elva Marker. She was a graduate of Claflin High School.

She married Gene Dunnaway in 1953, they later divorced. She then married Richard “Bill” Ogden in 1977. 

She worked for Sears and Roebuck in the parts department until she retired. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to watch a good game of baseball. She loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived by four children Joe Dunnaway (Ruth) of Great Bend, Brenda Hayes (Ronald) of Great Bend, Tom Dunnaway of Laughlin, Nev., Lynn White (Sean) of Fort Mohave, Ariz., and three stepchildren, Ricky Ogden (Iris) of Great Bend, LaDonna Vu of Houston, Texas., Richard L. Ogden of Ellinwood, Kan.; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Dunnaway, Joseph and Brian Espinosa, Michael Hayes, Mattew Dunnaway, Mark Menzer, Nathan and Cearra Reddig; and many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband Bill; four brothers; three sisters; one stepson Lonnie Ogden; and one step-grandson Billie Ogden.

Graveside services will be held Aug. 9th at 11 a.m. at Great Bend Cemetery with Reverend Lance Ogden officiating. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to: Beacon of Hope Hospice, The Hope Foundation, 3550 North Lane Suite 102, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
