Shirley Woods, 78, died Jan. 8, 2014 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.
Born Jan. 11, 1935 in Stafford, she was the daughter of Fred and Esther Schnieder Heinlein. On Aug. 28, 1950, she married Richard Hearn in Stafford. Richard and Shirley had two children, Dennis and Kathy. She then married Jim Woods on Aug. 12, 1979 in Wichita.  
Survivors include her husband, James Woods; daughter, Kathy Henry; and grandchildren, Theresa, Erin and Darrin. She was preceded by a son, Dennis.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Minnis Chapel in Stafford. There will be a private burial of the ashes at Stafford Cemetery.  Memorials contributions may be sent to the Harden Hospice of Great Bend in care of the chapel.
