SELDEN — Stephen C. Kruse, 50, died May 27, 2013 at Hays Medical Center.
Born March 24, 1963, in Hoxie, he was the son of Marlin and Irene (Heim) Kruse. He attended Golden Plains Junior/Senior High School and NCK Technical College in Beloit. He was an electrician.
Survivors include four brothers, Bernard Hoisington; John, Arvada, Colo.; Mike, Selden and Dan, Joplin, Mo.; and six sisters, Marlene Tignor and Donna McGee, both of Olathe; Pattye Brown, Joplin, Mo.; Mary Deyle, Imperial, Neb.; Susanne Johnson, New Braunfels, Texas; and Christina Immelman of Lisle, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Irene; special friend, Wanda Hanson; and two nephews, Christopher Kruse and Nicholas McGee.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Selden Community Center in Selden. A private family committal service will be held in the Selden Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Selden Community Center and Sacred Heart Parish Center.
