Terry Lee Henning 1959 - 2013

NESS CITY — Terry Lee Henning, 53, passed away July 14, at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City. Born on Sept. 11, 1959 in Ransom, he was the son of Julius and Melva Rose Weber Henning. On April 27, 1985 he married Joby Wendler in Ness City. She survives. Terry worked in the oil field with CarMac Oil Service until 1987, then began work in the appraisal field. He was a county appraiser for Hodgeman, Rush, and Wilson Counties and was an appraisal consultant with McCully and Associates.
Terry was a member of the Ransom High School, 1977 graduating class. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Ness City and was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus in Ransom.   
Other survivors include two sons, Nick Henning of Manhattan and Ben Henning of Pratt; two brothers, Kenny Henning (Traci), of Hays and James Henning (Tami), of Kingman; two sisters, Donna Bollig (Delbert) and Carol Nemechek (Dick), both of WaKeeney; his father Julius Henning of Ransom; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan; his mother, Melva Rose; and a brother, Joseph Henning.
Funeral services will be held on at 10 a.m. on Friday, at the Sacred Heart Church in Ness City, with burial following in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary and Parish Vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday.  Words of sympathy and support may be left for the family at www.fitzgeraldfuneral.com.
