CLAY CENTER — Wayne LeRoy Hafner died on July 29, 2017 in Leonardville, at the age of 89. He was born on a farm near Green on Aug. 25, 1927, the son of William F. Hafner and Anna Schafer Hafner. His family moved to the Schafer homestead near Bala in 1932 where he lived his entire adult life, until moving to the Leonardville Nursing Home in 2016.
