This week our trump-enabling representative Mann sent us a huge, multicolored, glossy flier trumpeting his vote for “real tax cuts of Kansas families and farmers” in the “one big beautiful bill.” Only he called it by its new totally misinformation name, “The Working Family Tax Cuts.” The flier says “paid for by official funds authorized by the house of representatives.” That’s us, the taxpayers. I assume a similar flier will be coming from the other trump enablers, Marshall, Moran, Estes & Schmidt.

I wonder when we will see the glossy flier trumpeting their vote for this same bill that granted massive, historic tax cuts to the wealthiest 1% of Americans. They could call this “The Increase Income Disparity Act.”

I wonder when we will see the glossy flier trumpeting their vote for this same bill that slashed aid for SNAP benefits, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act. They could call this “The We Don’t Believe In Life, Liberty, And The Pursuit Of Happiness Act.”

I wonder when we will see the glossy taxpayer funded flier trumpeting their vote for this same bill that keeps in place the tax system that allowed 88 of our biggest corporations to pay no income tax in 2025, including Elon Musk’s Tesla. They could call this “The Increase The Billionaire Oligarchs Act.”

I wonder when we will see the glossy taxpayer funded flier trumpeting their vote for this same bill to give $170 billion to ICE so they can deport people like Joe Ceballos, the former mayor of Coldwater, Kansas, who has been here for 50 years since he was 4 years old. They could call this “The We Are A White Supremacist Nation Act.”

Neither Mann, nor Marshall, nor Moran, nor Estes, nor Schmidt have done nothing to try to stop this deportation. In fact, all five are apparently so excited about deporting people like Joe that all five of them just voted to give ICE another $70 billion!
