Pilot Cub has another successful year for geranium sales

Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Pilot Club of Great Bend, I would like to say a heartfelt “Thank you” to all our loyal customers who each year purchase our geraniums and citrosa.
The proceeds from this sale allow us to continue with our many events and projects in the community benefiting those, young and old alike, with brain related disorders. With funds received from the sale of geraniums in 2013 we were able to purchase and give away booster seats to deserving children. Each year, in conjunction with the KS Dept. of Health, members of Pilot help with presenting “Body Venture” to Great Bend 5th grade students. We donated funds and took part in last October’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. For Christmas we made 35 blankets and quilts which were given to children in Foster Care. We presented a check for $1,100 to the Sunflower Early Education Center to purchase tools to enhance early Intervention Services for children from birth to age 3 with special needs and we helped with the birthday parties at Great Bend Health and Rehab, which is our signature project.
Only with your purchase of our geraniums can we continue to live up to our motto: “Do More. Care More. Be More.”  Thank you for making this possible.
Mary Cramer
