The men’s and women’s basketball games for the Barton Cougars set for Saturday against Allen County at the Barton Gym were postponed.
Allen County, coming from the southeast corner of the state, did not make the trip due to the weather conditions. No make up date has been set yet.
It was one of two postponed Jayhawk matchups on the day.
Neosho County’s trip to Liberal to take on Seward County was also set back.
The Cougars will be back on the floor in a rare Monday conference contest as Pratt makes a visit to the Barton Gym to start the home-and-home round robin with schools from the West.
The Barton men are currently 4-2 in the West division, good for a tie for second along with Hutchinson. Seward is leading the West at 5-1.
The Pratt men picked up its first Jayhawk win of the season Saturday with a win over Cloud County. The Beavers are 1-6 and 8-8.
On the women’s side, Hutchinson is 6-0 in conference play to lead the West while Seward is right behind them at 5-1. Pratt, after knocking off Cloud Saturday in Pratt, is 5-2 while Barton is 4-2.
