The Barton Community College is conducting baseball camps in January at Kirkman Activity Center.
The 2012 Winter Baseball Camp is slated for Saturdays and Sundays throughout the first month of the new year. The camp will be broken down into two age categories — for 7-to 12-year-olds and 13- to 18-year-olds.
The cost of the camp is $45 for one session (pitching or hitting) or $65 for two sessions (pitching and hitting).
Campers will receive individualized instruction from the camp staff, including Barton head coach Mike Warren, assistant coach Brent Biggs and assistant coach Brett McBride.
The camp will be conducted at Kirkman, where there is 12,500 feet of workout space and two batting cages, hitting stations and portable indoor mounds.
For more information about the camp, contact Biggs at (620) 792-9262 or (316) 706-6663.
