The unranked Barton Community College men’s soccer team made easy work of Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference opponent Allen County on Wednesday.
The Cougars rang up seven goals in a 7-1 blowout at Cougar Field.
Barton improves to 10-7 on the season, including 7-2 in the KJCCC.
Allen County falls to 2-10 overall, 3-7 in the Jayhawk Conference.
The Cougars travel to Kansas City Kansas on Saturday afternoon for their final game of the season. The game starts at 1.

Barton women shut down Allen County
The Barton women’s soccer team claimed another KJCCC win on Wednesday at Cougar Field.
The Lady Cougars beat Allen County 2-0.
BCC improves to 8-6 overall, 7-3 KJCCC, while Allen County falls to 5-10 overall, 2-8.
The Lady Cougars host Butler on Friday afternoon at 4. They will close their regular season on Wednesday at Garden City.

BCC volleyball team claims
five-game match win over Hutch

The Barton volleyball team was leading two matches to none before KJCCC foe Hutchinson began to climb back.
The result was a Lady Cougars victory, 25-20, 28-26, 23-25, 17-25 and 15-13.
The 19th-ranked Lady Cougars remain undefeated in conference play, improving to 10-0. They are 21-7 overall.
Sophomore setter Juliana de Barros was honored for the second week in a row as one of three NJCAA Volleyball Players of the Week.
The Lady Cougars travel to West Plains, Mo., on Friday to take part in the Missouri State University-West Plains Tournament over the weekend.
