Cougars head into break at 11-4

The Barton Community College men’s basketball team routed Hesston on Monday night at Kirkman Activity Center 98-69.
The Cougars close out the 2013 portion of their season with an 11-4 record.
Barton’s scoring leader came off the bench as Deriece Parks finished with 23 points. He went 8-for-13 from the first, including 6-for-10 from beyond the arc.
The Cougars combined for 14 3-pointers.
Tyler Corley finished 4-for-6 from 3-point range, scoring 22 points.
Isaac Williams added 19 points, sinking 7 of 11 shots from the field.
Darius Gibson scored 10 points.
It was the first time in five games that Cougars haven’t broken the century mark.
