DODGE CITY — Free throws guaranteed the Barton Community College men’s basketball team would hold on to beat Dodge City on Wednesday night.
The Cougars won 76-67 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Western Division action.
Trey Unrau, Isaac Williams and Tyler Corley each hit a pair of free throws in the final 33 seconds to keep Barton ahead.
Williams led Cougars scorers with 18 points.
Darius Gibson added 17 points, Corley scored 11 and Raheem Johnson finished with 10.
Dereice Parks grabbed a team-leading nine rebounds.
