The Barton Community College women’s basketball team struggled, shooting just 35.4 percent from the floor, but the Cougars were able to pick up a win against Fort Scott on Friday night.
The Cougars were led by Blair Bloomfield, who scored 13 points while going 5-for-6 from the free-throw line.
The Cougars improved to 9-4 this season with the win.
Dionna Harris scored 12 points and grabbed at team-leading eight rebounds for Barton.
