The Barton Community College softball team swept a doubleheader against Brown Mackie on Tuesday afternoon at Cougar Field.
Barton won both games 9-1.
Candace Bollig led the Lady Cougars from the plate in Game 1.
Bollig finihsed 2-for-3 with a triple and a home run. She had three RBIs.
Jaelyn Monhollon got her first win of the year in Game 1 in the circle, giving up four hits and one walk while recording five strikeouts.
Bailey Hensley, Erica Harper, Allison Smith and Ashlyn Osborne each finished with one RBI in the first game.
Osborne started on the mound for the Lady Cougars in Game 2, walking seven but striking out 11.
She helped her own case at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs. She has reached base safely in all nine at-bats this season.
Great Bend-native Stephanie Morrison was also one of six players with doubles in the game. She had an RBI, as did Emiliea Davies, Harper, Britney Meyer and Brianna Ward in Game 2.
