The Central Plains boys (19-2) earned the top seed at the Osborne 1A basketball substate. The Oilers play Feb. 28 at Claflin against the Hill City/Ellis winner. 

The Central Plains girls (14-8) play St. Francis at Claflin Tuesday, Feb. 24.

The St. John boys (16-6) play Kinsley Feb. 23. St John's girls play Elkhart Feb. 24.

Boys 1A quarterfinals are scheduled Monday, Feb. 23 at the higher seed. Girls 1A quarterfinals are scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 24 at the higher seeded team.

Boys semifinals are scheduled Saturday, Feb. 28 at the higher seed.  Girls semifinals are scheduled Monday, March 2 at the higher seed. 

Boys finals are scheduled Friday, March 6. Girls finals are scheduled Saturday, March 7. Each substate site will feature two finals on both days. Start time for  Saturday, March 7 is 5 p.m
