Annual Turkey Bowl returns

The third-annual Great Bend Storm Special Olympics Turkey Bowl will kick off at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, at Great Bend High School’s Memorial Stadium.
The event will feature seven-on-seven teams in flag football-style games and all ages are welcome. It is a single-elimination tournament and how long the tourney lasts depends on how many teams participate.
Games will be played from sideline to sideline, not goal to goal. This way, up to three games will be played at one time.
For an entry fee, organizers ask for a minimum of a $20 donation per player.
All proceeds will go to the Jessie Siminson Medical Fund. Siminson is a Storm team member recently diagnosed with cancer.
In addition, there will be tail-gate-style concessions available and prize drawings.
Needed are teams, money and or prizes for drawings, referees and other volunteers.
For more information, contact Josh Siminson at 480-600-8129 or at joshsiminson@yahoo.com
