baseball tryouts

The Central Kansas Baseball League tryouts for the NBC Hap Dumont baseball competitive traveling team will be on Sunday at Barton Community College’s Kirkman Activity Center — from 3-5 p.m.
Players need to bring their own baseball gloves and bats, if they have one. Baseballs and batting helmets will be provided.
Players will be evaluated on their batting, fielding and baserunning. This is an indoor tryout, so players should wear tennis shoes.

BCC scheduled game unchanged

In spite of some scheduling confusion, the Barton Community College baseball team is still slated to meet Iowa Western at 1 p.m. on Monday at Lawson-Biggs fields in Great Bend.
