MACKSVILLE – Macksville quarterback/linebacker Ryan Kuckelman enjoyed a career night accounting for seven touchdowns and 48 points in a 50-0 rout over Pratt-Skyline in Friday's Eight-Man 1, District 7 football game.
Kuckelman passed for 197 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 95 yards and two scores. Lance Lickiss caught touchdown passes of 9, 14 and 59 yards. Aiden Katz and Jason Cleveland also caught scoring passes. Cleveland ran for a 2-pointer.
Kuckelman led the Mustangs (7-0, 4-0 District) with six tackles and 11 assists, including a tackle for a safety on quarterback Brayden Berens.

HOISINGTON 52, LARNED 6
LARNED – Hoisington quarterback Tony Moore rushed for two scores and passed for a touchdown as the Cardinals moved one step closer to clinching the 2A District 7 title with a 52-6 rout of Larned on Senior Night.
Moore scored on 4- and 51-yard runs and added a 16-yard touchdown pass to Chase Steinert. Taylen Morales scored on a 90-yard kickoff return. Ian Smith, Teron Kraft and Rhen Galla scored touchdowns.
Hoisington (5-2, 3-0) secures a probable home playoff game with Phillipsburg (2-5). Larned (3-4, 1-2) plays at Lakin (6-1, 2-1) next week.
Hoisington's Moore scored on a 51-yard run on the second play. Morales converted a 90-yard kickoff. Ian Smith scored on a 21-yard dash and Teron Kraft added a 32-yard score. The Cardinals led 31-6 at halftime and coasted home.
"We got off to the worst possible start and snowballed on us," said Larned coach Tad Remy. "We looked good after Hoisington scored, but that kickoff return spiraled us downward.”
The Cardinals converted a trio of second-half touchdowns. Moore connected with Chase Steinert for a 16-yard touchdown pass. Moore and Rhen Galls added second-half scores.
Moore gained 85 yards and threw for 25 yards. Kraft (53), Ian Smith (40) and Steinert (40) rounded up the run game.
Larned's 7-minute drive resulted in a 10-yard touchdown pass from Carson Shaver to Jayden Smith.
Larned struggled against a big and talented Hoisington defense. Shaver completed 14 of 23 passes for 117 yards and rushed for 25 yards. Luke Fischer rushed for 30 yards.
“We struggled to run the football, especially the inside-run," Remy said. "Hoisington limited what we could do. Defensively, we didn’t tackle well.”

BUCKLIN – Central Plains led 22-12 before Bucklin scored 42 points for a 54-22 victory over the Oilers in a non-district football game.
Central Plains (1-6) was sparked by quarterback Evan Stratmann, who scored on a 1-yard run. He completed a 46-yard TD pass to Eli Hurley and a 20-yard touchdown to Hunter Klima.
Bucklin (4-3) was led by back Andrew Bowman, who rushed for 123 yards with four touchdowns. Quarterback Lucas Kirk rushed for two scores and passed to Kaden Tilley on a 33-yard touchdown. Bucklin rushed for 252 yards.

MEDICINE LODGE – Medicine Lodge scored twice on fourth-and-goal to beat Ellinwood 27-6 in Friday's 2A District 7 football game.
Medicine Lodge (3-4, 2-2) benefited from a lucky bounce when Alexavier Nittler caught a 1-yard scoring pass tipped by Ellinwood's Drew Heinz. Carter Cunningham scored on a 1-yard run on fourth-and-goal. Keveon Ruiz and Braxx Farr added touchdowns.
Ellinwood (2-5, 0-4) broke up the shutout when Koy Behnke caught a 24-yard scoring pass from Drew Heinz.

STAFFORD – Stafford quarterback Dylan Gantz did everything with two passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, two fumble recoveries and an interception to spark a 68-54 victory over South Barber.
Colson Minks and Josh Hildebrand caught touchdown passes. Cody Knoche rushed for 153 yards and four touchdowns.
Stafford's Ashton Harter and Jimi Oleson recovered fumbles and Dylan Brozek intercepted a pass.
Stafford (7-0, 3-0) wins Eight-Man 2, District 7 title over South Barber (6-1, 3-1).
South Barber quarterback Briggs Jewell did enough for the win with a trio of touchdown passes to Oakley Duvall, Zander Myers and Cash Tomberlin for South Barber (6-0, 3-0).
