Barton Community College is hosting a winter baseball camp starting Jan. 8-9 and continuing every Saturday or Sunday in January, depending on which age group the child is in.
The camp, held at the Kirkman Athletic Center, will be separated into two age groups, 7 to 12 and 13 to 18. The older kids will be meeting every Saturday and the younger kids’ camp will be held on Sundays.
There are two sessions each day, one for hitting and one for pitching. The price of attending one session (pitching or hitting) for the month is $45. Attending both costs $65.
Pitching session for 7- to 12-year-olds is from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The younger kids’ hitting session will be right after from 3 to 4.
The older kids will meet in the morning, pitching from 9 to 10:30 and hitting 10:30 to noon.
It is a walk-up registration. Anyone with questions can contact Barton baseball assistant coach Brent Biggs at 620-792-9262.
