Central Plains 102, Reno County Sabres 56

CLAFLIN — Oiler tailback Blaine Hickel scored a school record eight touchdowns as Central Plains scored a school record 102-56 victory over the Reno County Sabres in an 8-man football game.

Hickel scored on runs of 1, 11, 18, 29, 32, 40 and 50 yards and added a 65-yard kickoff return. Quarterback Brodie Crites dished off five touchdown passes — three to Paxton Dody and two to Hunter Klima.

Reno County quarterback Bo Smith completed five touchdown passes — two apiece to Jett Smith and Mason Kingsley.
