ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood's Legion baseball team swept past the Kinsley Southwest Sox 10-2 and 11-7 in Tuesday's doubleheader.

ELLINWOOD 10, KINSLEY 2 (G1) — Ellinwood pitcher Tyler Knop struck out eight batters in four innings. Ryan Niles and Kyler Doll each drove in two runs.

Doll singled home Evan Johanning and Niles singled home Levi Swenson and Doll in a four-run fourth inning. Niles stole home for a 4-0 lead. Johanning tripled home David Hammeke and Niles scored in a two-run fifth inning. Gage Hosman scored on a hit batter and Jayce Christiansen singled home Tyler Stuhlsatz singled home in a four-run sixth. Tyler Knop scored on a double play and Christiansen scored on a walk.

ELLINWOOD 11, KINSLEY 7 (G2) — Ellinwood's Ryan Niles drove home four runs and reliever Tyler Stuhlsatz pitched five innings.

Levi Swenson tripled home Hammeke and Johanning in a five-run first inning. Niles doubled home Swenson and Doll. Niles scored the fifth run.

Knop scored on a groundball and Hammeke scored on a passed ball in a four-run second inning. Doll singled home Swenson and Doll for a 9-5 lead. Niles doubled home Swenson and Doll in a two-run fourth inning.
