Great Bend Middle School seventh-grade boys basketball team rolled past Hutchinson Middle School 37-17 in Great Bend.
Great Bend’s Jacob Hall and Daxton Minton each scored 12 points and Ian Premer scored nine points.
“For the first game out, we played very hard and with a lot of enthusiasm,” said GBMS coach Troy Stein.
The GBMS B team, under coach Jason Duvall battled the entire game but lost 31-21 to Hutchinson. Karter Brown scored six points and Kellen Brown added four points.
