LARNED — The Larned High School Trap Shooting Team recently completed their season with competition at the Kansas State High School Clay Target League state trapshooting meet June 19. The meet was conducted by the Kansas Trap Shooting Association in Sedgwick County. 

Larned placed ninth by breaking 447 out of a possible 500 targets. 

In the varsity boys division, Ethan Lemuz tied for 22nd with a score of 94 out of 100 targets. Peyton Solko tied for 32nd with a score of 92. Cade Colglazier tied for 52nd with a score of 90. Joseph Theis tied for 65th with a score of 89.

In the junior varsity boys division, Luke Fischer tied for 37th with a score of 82. In the girls division, Halle Barker tied for 13th with a score of 73.

During the 2021 spring season, Barker ranked third in season average for 1A Conference 1 with an average of 17.9. Larned ranked second in the 1A Conference 1 with an average of 675.5.
