MACKSVILLE 40, NESS CITY 34

NESS CITY — Macksville coach Jeff Savage continues his miraculous turnaround with a hard fought 40-34 Central Prairie League football victory over Ness City Friday.

Mustang quarterback Brandon Franklin threw four touchdown passes and rushed for a fifth touchdown. Kaleb Granger caught a 14-yard tipped pass for a score and added a 40-yard scoring reception.

Nolan Adams grabbed a 15-yard scoring pass and Blayse Jones converted a 17-yard touchdown pass.

Franklin scored on a 36-yard run. Omar Cardoza scored on a 13-yard run.

Ness City quarterback Hunter Stenzel rushed for two touchdowns and added a passing touchdown.

Macksville has edged Pretty Prairie 50-44 and beat St. John 52-6. Ness City beat St. John 38-36 and La Crosse 30-22.
