PAWNEE HTS. 64, BUCKLIN 53

DODGE CITY — Pawnee Heights freshman Kade Scott scored a career high 24 points and Spencer VanMeter scored 19 points to spark the Tigers past Bucklin 64-53 in a consolation game Saturday at the SPIAA Tournament.
The Tigers scored 41 points in the second half. Hodgeman County beat the Tigers 56-36 in the first game. The Pawnee Heights girls lost 41-30 to Ashland and 41-7 to South Gray.
Spearville’s boys defeated South Gray 65-58 for first place. The Ingalls girls defeated Spearville 55-46 for first place.

ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood’s girls raced past Palco 50-21 Friday for their second victory of the basketball season. Macy Menges scored 15 points and Brittney Beck added 11 points.
Kynlee Doll had three steals and three assists. Maddie Hayes had three steals.
Ellinwood won the boys game 60-29.
