ST. JOHN — The St. John-Hudson High School girls’ basketball team shot down Word of Life on Tuesday night, holding a 16-6 lead at halftime and capping the game with a 22-point fourth quarter.
The Lady Tigers were led by Teresa Christie, who finished with 19 points.
Tia Smith joined her in double figures with 10 points.

LARNED — Ellinwood got out to a phenomenal start, leading 25-17 after the first quarter.
However, Larned turned things around before halftime, outscoring the Eagles 23-5 for a 40-30 lead at intermission. The Indians held on to win.
Larned was led by Brayden Smith, who scored 30 points.
Camryn Bryant added 14 points for the Indians.
Ellinwood was led by Tanner Swank, who scored 22 points.
