The Oilers advanced to 2-0 on a 62-0 victory over Kinsley with the 45-point rule ending the game at halftime.
Offensively, Central Plains spread the ball out.
Quarterback Braeden Crites completed 3 of 4 passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
One went to Layne Bieberle, who had two catches for 26 yards and a score, and the other wne to Carson Kirmer, who had one catch for 26 yards and a TD.
The Oilers had four runners out of the backfield with at least one touchdown.
Brock Lawrence had a pair of TDs and only four yards rushing.
Jacob Warnken had 25 yards and one score, Alex Barton carried the ball for 44 yards and one TD and Crites had 38 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Stafford 44, Burrton 6
BURRTON — Stafford off to a 2-0 start to the season with the one-sided road victory.
The Trojans were led by Ethan Johnson, who busted out 275 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
Riley Juel led the Trojans' defense with 17 tackles.
Mikey Aguilar had three sacks.
Otis-Bison 46, St. John-Hudson 44
ST. JOHN — Things were looking Otis-Bison's way early.
The Cougars led 24-8 at halftime.
St. John scored 30 points in the third quarter to lead 38-32 heading into the final period.
Otis-Bison completed a drive in less than 30 seconds to pull ahead with two seconds remaining after a back-and-forth fourth quarter.
Cougars quarterback Brandon Keller was 5-for-11 for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
Brad Lightfoot rushed for 201 yards and four scores.
St. John's Jorge Calleros completed 2 of 6 passes for 57 yards and one TD. He also rushed for a team-leading 160 yards and four scores.
Juan Neri-Leon added 117 rushing yards and one TD for the Tigers.

NESS CITY — Macksville couldn't get either side of the ball going on Friday night against Ness City.
The Mustangs finished with minus-10 yards of total offense, while giving up 295 yards.

VICTORIA — Ellinwood dropped to 1-1 on the season after losing by the 45-point rule at halftime on the road.
Victoria scored 34 points in the first quarter and 28 in the second to put the game away.
Jordan Duvall rushed for a 1-yard touchdown to score Ellinwood's only points. He had 10 carries for 34 yards.
Eagles quarterback Tyson Martinez completed 14 of 22 for 189 yards. He threw two interceptions.
Theron Sjogren led Ellinwood receivers with 112 yards.
