GREENSBURG — The Ellinwood High School track and field teams won both the girls and boys competition of the Kiowa County Invitational on Friday.
The Lady Eagles dominated with 132 points, topping second-place Kiowa County, which had 123.
Macksville placed sixth at 32 points.
The Eagles finished with 99 points. Kiowa County placed second in the boys’ competition with 77 points.
Macksville finished in fourth place with 64 points.
Kyle Oglesbee broke Ellinwood school record in the 800-meter run at 1:56.68.
Devin Ramsey ran the fastest time in Class 2A in the 110 hurdles prelims, missing a school record at .22.
He won the event at 15.18 in the finals.
Brooke Panning ran 2A’s fastest time in the 400 dash, winning the event at 59.99.
The Ellinwood 4x400 relay team of McKenna Rugan, Sophie Hayes, Bailey Baird and Brooke Panning ran 2A’s fastest time (4:13.46) to win the event.
