NESS CITY — Ness City put up 25 points in the first quarter, and Pawnee Heights could not get back into the game on Friday night.
The Tigers were led by Chad Wallace, who scored nine points.
Sam Spence added seven for Pawnee Heights.

HOISINGTON — Hoisington was able to preserve its lead after rushing ahead 16-7 in the first quarter, winning the semi-final game on Friday to advance to the championship game against Minneapolis.
Derrick Kaiser led the Hoisington with a game-high 21 points.
Cody Stetler joined Kaiser in double digits with 20 points.

HOISINGTON — A 14-point third quarter from Minneapolis put the game out of reach for Quivira Heights on Friday night at the Hoisington Winter Jam.
The Lady Thunderbirds were led by Lindsey Woodmansee, who scored all six of her points in the first half.
Autumn Mumford added five points, and Katelyn Zink, Jayde Beck and Miranda Burton each added three.

HOISINGTON — La Crosse led 27-25 after three quarters, but Hoisington put together a 13-point surge in the final eight minutes to win a trip to the Hoisington Winter Jam championship game on Friday night.
Blakelee Cooper led the Lady Cardinals with 11 points, including three 3-pointers.
Belle Brickley added nine points and Mallory Flagor put in six.
