GB middle school runners place first, second

HAYS — The Great Bend Middle School 8th- and 7th grade boys cross country teams finished first and second at Hays with several individual top 10 medalists.
Eighth-grader Angel Razo captured first place (13:06) for the second time. Juan Sanchez placed fifth (13:30) and Jonathan Pasos seventh (13:33).
Panther Emilia Diaz captured a third-place medal (15:03) for the 8th-grade girls team.
Seventh-grader Kaiden Esfeld placed first (6:21) for the third consecutive meet. He was followed by fourth-place Oliver Dominguez (6:46) and fifth place Braylon Council (6:46). Haley McCormick finished seventh (7:47) for her third top 10 finish.
